The next tab you'll encounter when entering a response is the Affirmative Defenses Tab. Here you will raise any Affirmative Defenses that you may have. Affirmative pleadings are not required. Per the Rules, an Affirmative Defense is a "complete defense that does not address the allegations, but instead, asserts reasons that preclude the arbitrator(s) from accepting jurisdiction and ruling on the disputed issue(s)."
